Launch Alaska Portfolio member Cache Energy, a graduate of the 2023-2024 Tech Deployment Track, took home the first place prize in the Department of Energy’s 2024 Energy Program for Innovation Clusters (EPIC) Prize Collaboration Event.

Cache Energy’s technology is a non-toxic, non-flammable, fire-retardant, solid fuel long duration energy storage solution with applications for both commercial and residential heating and industrial process heat/steam supply. The first-place prize recognized the company’s pitch quality and investment potential.
