WATCH: Legislative Forum on Electric Energy Generation and Transmission Grid

Alaska legislators, utility executives, and energy leaders gathered for a discussion of electric energy transmission and generation during a legislative forum in Anchorage Nov. 29.

Hosted by Sen. Cathy Giessel, the forum included legislators and others who participated in an October policy tour to Iceland, led by the Alaska Center for Energy and Power. Launch Alaska President and CEO Isaac Vanderburg joined the group tour in Iceland, and we’re excited to see these conversations advance shared solutions to our most pressing energy, industry, and transportation challenges.
